Another year as VMware vExpert

The list of VMware vExperts for 2021 was announced last week, and I'm proud to say that I'm still a part of this great community.

This is my fourth consecutive year and I'm happy that the community is strong, and increasing year by year. 2021 includes 2100+ vExperts from over 40 different countries!

The vExpert program is VMware's global evangelism and advocacy program. Hence it is not a technical certification, but rather an award for those that engages with their community to share their knowledge. "Giving back" is a key in this program. Activities that are looked at are blogging, event speaking, VMUG leadership and so on.

Before the second half application opening last year I wrote a blog post about being a vExpert and what you can get out of it. If you missed the application this time, or wasn't accepted, you'll get a new chance later on this year. The second half will open in june.
